Leo

Leo is the astrological sign which is governed by the Sun. The Sun is one of the most important planets in astrology. It rules our self and ego drives. The Sun represents royalty and prideful thinking. In astrology we have 12 houses which represent different things. Leo rules the 5th house which reflects our sexuality, creativity, and the children we will have.

There are many stars in the constellation of Leo. Three of them which are well known are called Regulus, Denebola, and Zosma. The archetype of the hero or king is part of the Leo nature. This sign is a fire sign which is fixed. It would be more stable and less erratic than the other 2 fire signs. It is masculine in terms of polarity. There are many Sun gods with stories which can be related to Leo. Helios, Sol, Apollo, and Hercules are just a few. A person born with their Sun in Leo will be considered generous, confident, passionate, benevolent, humorous, and self-reliant.
